Parmigiano-Reggiano Sport Mix

According to the Consorzio del Formaggio Parmigiano Reggiano, snacking on Parmigiano-Reggiano is a great way to get a quick burst of energy along with a good dose of protein, calcium, vitamin A and vitamin B12.

Ingredients

1/2 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

1/3 cup toasted, salted hazelnuts or pecans

1/4 cup toasted pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

1/4 cup golden raisins

1/4 cup dried cherries or cranberries

1/4 cup crackers or pretzels


Instructions

Toss all ingredients together and adjust ratios as needed.
