Mount Mansfield’s maple syrup is just that—pure Vermont maple syrup that is smooth, silky and brimming with unadulterated maple flavor. Choose from two grades: the lighter Amber Rich (formerly known as Grade A) or the full-bodied Dark Robust (formerly known as Grade B).
How to use
The Amber Rich grade is an ideal all-purpose maple syrup. Drizzle over pancakes, waffles, ice cream or add a spoonful to your morning coffee. Try combining Mount Mansfield’s Amber Rich syrup with Alvear Sweet Sherry Vinegar to make this Maple Dijon Vinaigrette, a sweet and savory salad dressing that doubles as a glaze or marinade.
We prefer adding the Dark Robust grade to our baked goods, like cookies, cakes and frostings, when we want its brown sugar, butterscotch-like maple flavor to shine through. An essential for holiday baking, use the Dark Robust grade to make a batch of maple blondies or boost the flavor of your pumpkin and pecan pies.
About the producer
Mount Mansfield Maple Products founder Chris White is a fifth-generation maple sugar maker. All of the sap used for their products is harvested from a certified organic maple tree forest (also known as a sugar bush) that sits at the bottom of Mount Mansfield, Vermont’s tallest peak and the company’s namesake. Since their launch in 2009, Mount Mansfield Maple Products has earned accolades year-after-year, including awards from both the Good Food Foundation and the Specialty Food Association.
