Opened the box and tea was everywhere. Created quite a mess.
I enjoy Mariage Freres teas and have several favorites. My afternoon tea to enjoy is Earl Gray French Blue, but decided to try Wedding Imperial Tea. While this is a more flavored tea than I normally drink I very much enjoyed it for an afternoon tea. For me it doesn't work as a morning tea, but it is a beautiful late afternoon tea or evening tea -- delicate flavor and sweetness, but not too sweet to be cloying. It has me going back for one more sip. Will definitely purchase again.
It’s different and not my favorite!
I have ordered and re-ordered this tea. Composed of golden Assam tea leaves with notes of chocolate and caramel, it offers up an earthy fruitiness. Truly a celebratory tea.
The idea of a tea for a wedding is what attracted me to this tea. It can also be the wedding of different flavors in the tea, so I wanted to get this tea to have on special mornings, when I would have the time to sit and enjoy it. At first I was not crazy about the tea, there is a caramel taste, however in trying it for three mornings I do like it now. A nice change so this makes teatime special tea drinkers.
