Candied Orange Peel Cubes
These candied orange peel cubes are made with just orange peel, sugar and glucose. No corn syrup, sulfur or citric acid.
The finest Italian candied orange peel, cut into convenient cubes, is ready for baking. Add some candied cubes to the batter for classic fruitcake, chocolate torte, shortbread cookies, cream scones or rich holiday breads like panettone. These candied orange peel pieces are also delicious mixed into ice cream or the streusel topping for coffee cake.

The flavor is a bit on the "subtle" side but worked for holiday baking-- AND beats making my own.
Not only did I buy candied orange peel cubes, I bought candied lemon peel, candied citron, and candied cherries. Sadly candied pineapple was not available so I tried to make my own. All this, plus other yummy goodies like pecans and currants, went into a dark Christmas fruitcake which recipe I found in an older version of the Good Housekeeping cookbook. The cake improves daily. I chose your products because I needed to avoid corn syrup and I wanted to avoid chemicals and preservatives. Thank you! I am very happy with your fruits, your quick shipping response, and my delightful cake.
wanting on the best, chemical-free food for my family, i really appreciate Market Hall candied fruits~ all flavor, no artificial colors, high fructose corn syrup, or other additives. thank you! thank you! thank you!
Trained with a world pastry champion/MOF- this is what he uses for Panettone and it's the only orange/citron I will use. The best and arrives re-packaged & fresh. The huge box it comes in would take me years to use up. Perfect!
Every year (for the past 25) on the Friday following Thanksgiving, I start my fruitcakes. I souse my fruit and nut mix for a week in brandy for the dark version. I also make a light version, called Dowager Duchess Fruitcake with candied lemon, candied orange and almonds with sherry. It always gets rave reviews, even from those who have sworn never to allow fruitcake to pass their lips. The orange and lemon peel from Market Hall has been the best I have ever used and when someone asks for the recipe for the cake, I also give them the Market Hall info for the fruit.
