Flavor: Eros tea is beautifully balanced French tea is perfumed with hibiscus, lavender, rose petals and mallow flowers.
Drink this tea with: Excellent over ice. The bold floral notes pair wonderfully with a bowl of mixed berries served with a dollop of sweetened mascarpone.
Cooking with tea: Use in lieu of water in Alice Mendrich’s no fuss strawberry sorbet.
Words from Mariage Frères tea house: “A blend made for those in love, black tea flavored with hibiscus and mallow flowers.”
The Mariage Frères Eros tea blend is beautifully fragrant black tea with hibiscus, and other floral notes. I keep it on hand for guests, to serve any time of the day. Everyone finds it delicious and indulgent- no need for cream!

I have loved it for years. I like to have about 5 different teas. Eros is an afternoon tea for me. If it is a cold wet afternoon Imperial Marriage is perfect. If I am in need of a strong pick up, I will brew a Marriage green tea. I get my breakfast from from McNultys in NYC. For Sunday morning I like Earl Grey bluetips from Marriage.
