I bought this because the stuff I get at my local market is crap, so I was skeptical about the possibility of anyone making a decent Sichuan Pepper Oil.
This one is great. Everything the others are not, it’s floral, tingly, fresh tasting and is exactly what you would hope for. I will not be bothering to laboriously make my own anymore.
I've used this Green Sichuan Pepper Oil from 50Hertz in multiple dishes where the tingling effect was a big part of the taste. It is so much better (and easier) than grinding the whole peppers and I'm sure I'll get the desired effect with the oil, not always sure with the whole peppers.
