Flavor: Marco Polo Rouge is a delicate caffeine-free tea with juicy notes of red fruit and berries.
Drink this tea with: Serve this French tea with scones studded with dried cherries and hazelnuts.
Cooking with tea: Celebrate with a bubbly tea aperitif based on a cocktail served at the Mariage Frères salons in Paris. Pour a spoonful of Marco Polo tea simple syrup into a champagne flute and top with sparkling wine.
Words from Mariage Frères tea house: “« Marco Polo Red » is Mariage Frères own masterpiece and will help you travel in distant and mysterious lands. Scented with fruits and flowers from China and Tibet, it develops a refined and velvety taste.”
For our daily tea, we use a lesser brand, but wanted a treat for a couple of days a week. We lucked into trying this at a local restaurant a few years ago and were sold immediately- fragrant and delicious. Love this stuff.

A little bit of heaven.
I drink this tea for breakfast and lunch. Along with the Marco Polo black tea, these are my most favorite ever!

So happy they carry refills now!
I LOVE this tea! It's such a great flavor, minus the caffeine of the original. The rooibos flavor isn't very prominent for those who dislike it. The taste is very complex, both fruity and floral.
