Having tried Siena's famous ricciarelli cookies when I was there a few years ago, I was really excited to see that I could order freshly-made ones through Market Hall. However, they seemed too heavy on the almond paste making the cookies a little too gooey instead of chewy and too strong on the almond paste flavor. I wouldn't buy them again due to this but they were definitely fresh and closer to the Siena version that other commercial versions I've tried.
