About the Producer

The Rossi family of B&R Farms in Hollister, California has been growing Blenheim apricots for 75 years and are as equally invested in the preservation of this prized variety as its cultivation. Why this specific apricot? Blenheim is an heirloom variety, beloved for its rich flavor, that once flourished in California. But similar to other heirloom fruits and vegetables, this variety was almost lost forever as it's difficult to grow and ill-suited to the demands of the modern global supply chain. Luckily, there are farms like B&R working to restore the Blenheim apricot's foothold in California.
