2022 Sicilian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Tasting Notes
This year's Titone Extra Virgin Olive Oil consists of Cerasuola with a small percentage of Biancolilla olives. The nose is complex with notes of tomato stem and green banana. On the palate, even more verdant tones come alive with notes of fresh, aromatic herbs, dark leafy collard greens and even broccoli. Pleasantly bitter, this oil is balanced by its persistent and lingering peppery finish. A medium-intensity oil.
How to use
This Sicilian olive oil is our number one choice for finishing—pour it abundantly over blanched vegetables with a spritz of lemon and a few flakes of Maldon Sea Salt, add a final flourish to Pasta con le Sarde (Pasta with Sardines and Fennel) or drizzle over grilled fish and seafood.
Titone olive oil also makes a beautiful base for fresh herb-based sauces like Italian salsa verde, chimichurri and French pistou.
About the producer
Titone is produced in the northwest coastal province of Trapani on the island of Sicily. In fact, the family that owns the 3,000 olive trees on hundreds of hectares, insist that organic farming is the only way to produce a quality olive oil. The precision they use to produce this oil no doubt is based on the exacting nature of the family's other business... chemistry and pharmaceuticals!

Connie, we may be cousins! We visited the olive farm and production facility in Trapani Sicily and were very impressed with taste, quality, innovation, healthfulness, organic farming, and production methods.
My Sicilian cousins, whom I’ve never met) make the BEST olive oil. It’s simply wonderful!!!
Titone rules
We first tried this olive oil in Sicily and brought a bottle home with us. It is our go to olive oil. Nothing better!
This olive oil is delicious. It's peppery & grassy. I use it for everything!! Salads, dipping bread, by itself over pasta with cracked pepper & Parmesan. I also use it as a body moisturizer & I and put it in my hair. Love it!!
