Szegedi 178 is an heirloom variety of hot pepper with an intense, concentrated aroma and long, lingering heat. Grown on a small regenerative farm in Kalocsa, the oldest paprika-growing region of Hungary, the peppers are harvested at peak-ripeness and stored in mesh bags to cure in the open-air. Once dried and ground, they are blended with Noble Sweet Paprika.
