Market Hall Bakery's Most Popular Cookie

Sinking your teeth into these chewy, sumptuous cookies is an experience like no other. Traditionally prepared at Christmas time in Siena, Ricciarelli date back to the days of the Renaissance. Market Hall Bakery's pastry chefs create these little jewels every morning. Made simply with natural almond paste (gluten free), these sweet treats make a sublime ending to a meal with a glass of Vin Santo or a steaming cup of espresso.

You'll receive one dozen freshly-baked Ricciarelli with each order. Our extensive testing (or tasting!) reveals that these cookies are best eaten within about 10 days.

Please note: Freshly baked Ricciarellis are made-to-order. Because of this, your order will take one additional business day to process before shipment.

Ingredients: almond paste, egg whites, sugar,  baking powder, almond extract, salt

As seen in the New York Times.

THE Bakery to go to!

I got a gift of an orange and chocolate panettone from Market Hall for Christmas last year which was so delicious that I immediately turned here to order some of the baked goodies for gifts to give this year to my friends and family. I just tasted a Ricciarelli almond cookie from them (yes, I gifted myself while I was at it!) and it was also divine. Shop here for your holiday goodies before everything sells out (which happens pretty quickly, this bakery is so popular)! Excellent all around—from their wares to their service!

Amazing Cookies

The Italian Riccarelli cookies are amazing. Just wish I could buy more than 1 box at a time

Good, but not quite the real thing

If you’ve ever been to Siena and had these cookies, it’s a tall order to have them here in the U.S., where no one really knows how to make them. But these are close.

Excellent

These are the best! I want more and will order again later. Last time I checked, they were out of stock.
Absolutely delicious!
