About the producer
To establish a deeper connection to the rice they grow, father and son duo Tom and Carter Knowles built an artisanal rice mill on their farm in Chico, California. When they first tasted their freshly milled Japonica rice, they realized they had something special. Today, Tom and Carter farm, mill and hand-pack each bag of Chico Rice in small batches on-site, delivering the freshest rice possible from one single family farm.
