Olio Verde'S 2025 harvest extra virgin olive oil is made with 100% Nocellara del Belice olives. This classic oil opens with the aroma of ripe tomatoes, as if you’ve just opened a jar of tomato passata. In the mouth, it is velvety and very well-balanced, with medium fruitiness and spiciness in total harmony. It has a mild, soft nuttiness, and a hint of white pepper that opens the palate.  A medium to robust oil.

Upon its release in 1989, Olio Verde was a turning point for Sicily. It's the first olive oil made from a single cultivar, the Nocellara del Belice olive grown on the Pignatelli family's historic estate in Castelvetrano, Sicily. Farmed using ecological methods, the olives are harvested in early October while they are still bright green—imparting a singular flavor onto the oil—and are milled on the estate within hours of being picked.
