Danieli's Grissinetti al Sale Marino (mini Grissini) are handcrafted with high-quality extra virgin olive oil, freshly milled Puglian flour, and white wine. These crunchy, crispy crackers get a finishing sprinkle of sea salt from Cervia. Cervian sea salt—harvested in the small town of Cervia in Emilia-Romagna—is known for it's mild, clean salty flavor (the Italians call it "dolce" for its natural absence of bitter minerals).
In the Italian south, grissinetti are often served as an aperitivo (a drink and snack) with salumi, olives and glasses of wine. We also love these flaky crackers with dips or added to a cheese plate.
