Rustichella d’Abruzzo has long been our favorite Italian jarred tomato sauce. Elegant, simple and clean tasting, their sauces emphasize the quality of the core ingredients (vine ripe, fresh Italian tomatoes and good extra virgin olive oil). This Tomato and Basil Sauce is a perfect pairing for any pasta. In addition to tomato pulp (88%) and extra virgin olive oil, a whisper of basil, onion and carrot deliver complexity to its deep tomato flavor. It also makes an excellent lasagna layer.
