Frantoio Grove California Orange Blossom Honey
This honey smells and tastes like an orange tree in bloom courtesy of the bees who forage on the orange blossoms of Tulare County, California. More than just sweet, it’s distinctly citrusy and delicately floral, making it great for stirring into teas, vinaigrettes and marinades. Unlike its commercially made counterparts, this small-batch honey is not pasteurized in order to maintain its naturally occurring medicinal properties. Crystallization may occur, but it's nothing a hot water bath can’t fix if you prefer a runnier honey.
Frantoio Grove is run by father and son, Jeff and Patrick Martin, 6th and 5th generation California farmers. While they primarily make extra virgin olive oil in the Santa Cruz mountains, the Martins also partner with local beekeepers to source their sustainable honey that reflects the diversity of California flora.
