Frantoio Grove’s California Spring Wildflower Honey is perfect for sweetening tea, but it can also do so much more. Its creamy texture and maple-like undertones make it a great choice for drizzling over buttered rye bread, whisking into salad dressings or stirring into cocktails like the gin-based Bee’s Knees. Collected from hives of bees that forage on a variety of wildflowers in the Sacramento Valley hills between May and July, this honey is a snapshot of springtime Northern California. In order to maintain its natural health benefits, Frantoio Grove does not pasteurize their honeys. Crystallization may occur, but it's nothing a hot water bath can’t fix if you prefer a runnier texture.

About the producer

Frantoio Grove is run by father and son, Jeff and Patrick Martin, 6th and 5th generation California farmers. While they primarily make extra virgin olive oil in the Santa Cruz mountains, the Martins also partner with local beekeepers to source their sustainable honey that reflects the diversity of California flora.
