White polenta is usually served in Venice and the surrounding area, as well as in Friuli, where it is known as Polenta Bianca. More delicate than the yellow varieties, white corn polenta is typically served with seafood. After about 30 to 45 minutes of cooking, this creamy and soft polenta is ready to be topped with grilled prawns, cuttlefish, or as simple side next to herby roast chicken.
