Tenuta di Capezzana Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
A consistent favorite among chefs, this year's Tenuta di Capezzana Extra Virgin Olive Oil is pure elegance. Their 2025 harvest is a blend of four Tuscan olive varietals: Moraiolo, Frantoio, Pendolino, and Leccino. With inviting aromas of almond and chamomile, followed by a delicate flavor and touch of pepperiness, this mild-intensity oil elevates dishes without overpowering them. It's no wonder that over the past 30 years, Capezzana has garnered a devoted following.

We love Capezzana for its versatility. Use as a finishing oil over a plate of citrus segments, steamed Romanesco or cavalo nero (Tuscan kale) or a delicate fish dish. Or, serve it like Rolando Beramendi, author of Autentico: Cooking Italian, the Authentic Way, does—poured liberally over mashed potatoes and topped with crunchy crystals of Maldon Sea Salt.
Tenuta di Capezzana, outside of Florence, has been producing wine and olive oil since 804 A.D. The estate is a grand villa, built for one of the Medici daughters as a wedding gift and is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. But the estate is also a home under the care of the Contini Bonacossi family. Filippo Bonacossi supervises the estate's olives groves while the rest of the family handles the business side. We're proud to share with you an extra virgin olive oil that is both from a family operation and one of Italy's premier estates.
