Kuali Salsa Macha de Cacahuate

Salsa Macha de Cacahuate is Kuali’s fiery twist on their Salsa Macha Clásica, a spicy, oil-based condiment with origins in Veracruz, Mexico. A combination of Mexican chiles, crushed peanuts, garlic and sea salt give this condiment savory depth, texture and a bright, lingering heat. Salsa Macha de Cacahuate packs a zippy punch that will satisfy heat seekers, but is still versatile enough to complement tacos, eggs, roasted vegetables and everything in between.

Although based in Oakland, California, Kuali’s roots are in Mexico. Husband and wife duo—Rodrigo Cruz Ayala, originally from Mexico City and Janeen Mendoza Cruz, a first generation Mexican-American—started Kuali in 2020 to bring bold Mexican-style salsa to the United States. Disappointed with the mass-produced salsas available in the U.S, the pair are determined to share the authentic flavors, textures and aromas of salsa macha.
