Spicy Hungarian Goathorn Peppers Packed in Olive Oil
Similar to their Original Mildly Spicy Peppers, Mama Lil's Kick Butt Peppers pack a distinctly fruity heat and satisfying crunch, but with the spice level dialed up. Also like the original, these Washington-grown Hungarian Goathorn peppers are sliced and packed in a garlic and herb-infused oil to preserve their bright, sweet heat.
Ingredients: peppers, non-gmo expeller pressed canola oil, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, salt, garlic, spices. Refrigerate after opening.
How to use
Sub in these peppers for pimentos for a spicy spin on pimento cheese, use them as a topping for deviled eggs, or dice and mix into tuna salads. A natural choice for sandwiches, these Kick Butt peppers also add zip to burgers, tacos and pizzas.
About the producer
Inspired by his mother Lil’s pickled pepper recipe, Howard Lev started batching preserved Hungarian Goathorn peppers inside a church basement in the early 1990s. In the decades since, Mama Lil’s has upgraded their facilities, but continues to source their peppers, as well as all of their ingredients, from local farms in Yakima Valley, Washington.
