Umbrian Lentils from Bartolini
Once I had Bartolini Umbrian lentils, I never wanted anything else. So much better than regular brown lentils. My favorite dish for these lentils: mix a little fresh lemon juice and honey until the honey is dissolved, add al dente cooked lentils, serve with plain yogurt and fresh avocado on top. Incredible!
These lentils are small and cook quickly into delicious soup.
Umbrian lentils were delicious
I ordered the Umbrian Lentils for a recipe I saw in Milk Street magazine, and they were terrific. I am eager to use them in other dishes.
