These candied angelica stalks have gorgeous, naturally green color and pleasantly herbaceous flavor. The ingredients are simple and sweet: just angelica, sugar and glucose. Angelica, "herb of the angels," has been used for centuries as a medicinal plant (to stimulate digestion) and as a flavoring for liqueurs.

Candied angelica is a rare and hard-to-find ingredient that brings special flavor to cookies, cakes and other desserts. You'll receive stalks that are about four inches long. Slice and add them to fruitcake or Christmas trifle or use the pieces to decorate sweets like cassata Siciliana, the traditional Italian cake made with a layer of ricotta cheese and candied fruit.

This product is packaged in-house.

great product

Only place I have found Angelica. Use it in 1779 recipes of Martha Washington's, works great. Will purchase from here again along with other things needed for that time period.

Hard to find.

Delicious and tasted like candied
angelica, not like some little piece of colored rubber like I usually find.
Was meant for a Sicilian ricotta cheesecake, so I
bought extra lots just as candy for myself!!!

Only Online Location in Country with Candied Angelica

The Candied Angelica was perfect. Wish I had been able to order a half-pound bag, but the one pound bag arrived especially well packaged.

glad I found angelica

I use it when making traditional stollen for my family and friends. The current selection of candied fruit is all citrus based and the angelica adds the base notes.

Great to find this

Like the other reviewer, this is the only place in US that I've managed to find it. Perfect for traditional British recipes like fruit cake and angelica cake.
