I have been using this wonderful product for several years but find it to be outstanding when used in yeasted sweet doughs that call for vegetable oil or butter. This oil is more than a cut above. The fragrance and flavor it adds to sweet dough is "swoonable"! Love it.
I have used many different lemon oils over the years. I finally gave up and started doing my own infusion because I wanted a natural product without artificial flavors or concentrates. I got my Agrumato today and I can say I have found a lemon oil that is vastly better than any one I have ever tried including my own. It is a happy day when I can make a permanent add to my pantry. This lemon oil is a category of one.
This stuff is crazy good on just about any vegetable. And it doesn't take much. If you don't have a desire use a lot of energy to suss up something just steam the veg. and sprinkle a bit of this before serving.
Of the many products we have bought many from Market Hall, this is what we return for most often. The crisp, fresh taste of the lemon oil (our favorite) makes an ordinary dish bright with flavor. People ask, "What makes this salad so different? What did you do to the chicken, fish, or even hummos?" Such a simple change, but so subtle and very different from any of the imitations we have tried. The oils also make great and reasonable presents for other food lovers.
