For a twist on their traditional Argentine alfajores, Wooden Table Baking Co. sandwiches their creamy dulce de leche between two tender shortbread cookies dusted with snickerdoodle-inspired cinnamon and sugar.

Located in Oakland, California, Wooden Table is owned and operated by its Head Baker, Andrés. Growing up outside of Buenos Aires, Andrés learned to cook from their grandmother, making ravioli, gnochi, tarts and more at their family's wooden table. Today, Wooden Table continues to honor their heritage by making everything from scratch, just like grandma did.
