Until 2017, Brian and Lan of 9th and Larkin, were working in the tech industry, not the chocolate business. But that didn’t stop the all-around food enthusiasts from making their own chocolate bar—entirely from scratch—in their tiny San Francisco kitchen. Impressed with the results (and the fun they had), the husband-and-wife team officially established 9th & Larkin.
