Italian Lentils from Umbria

Grown in Colfiorito, a villlage in the hills of Umbria, these Italian lentils are beloved by chefs and home cooks alike. These tiny pulses are prized for their rich, nutty flavor, supple texture and ability to hold their shape after cooking. Plus, Umbrian lentils only take about 20–25 minutes to cook (hello quick meals!).

Good news, lentil lovers! These Umbrian lentils are available in a 1.1-pound bag (500g) as well as a larger 2.2-pound bulk bag (1kg).

How to use

Our tip: Cook a big batch of lentils and use them for tasty, healthful meals all week long. Add a few cups to sautéed vegetable and stock for a warming soup. Toss with a bracing vinaigrette, lots of chopped green herbs and use as a topping for salads or toast.
