A striking garnish for wedding cakes, pavlovas, panna cotta and other desserts, these candied violets add patisserie-style elegance to your homemade creations.

Hand picked from the hills of Liguria, these edible flowers are preserved whole using a traditional Piedmontese recipe. First, each petal is delicately painted with a sweetened syrup, after which the entire flower is coated in crystallized sugar and set to dry for 24 hours. The result is an exquisite decoration with a satisfying crunch and subtle floral flavor.
