Fusilli col Buco were invented by Neapolitan housewives, who would wrap bucatini (the spaghetti with a hole through the center) around knitting needles to make tight corkscrews of pasta. These very long, twirly organic noodles are delicious and fun to eat with any tomato- or olive oil-based sauce.

Recognizing that they could take their commitment to responsible growing methods one step further, the Peduzzi family of Rustichella d'Abruzzo has introduced a line of organic pasta, all certified organic by the Consorzio per il Controllo dei Prodotti Biologici, or CCPB.
