A Variety Prized for Flavor & Versatility

B & R Farms dries their California-grown Blenheim apricots for seven days in the heat of the mid-summer sun to yield chewy, sweet fruit with a strong honey-like flavor. Dried Blenheims are fantastic for baking, whether chopped and folded into scone batter, cookie dough or cake batter, layered into a tart or pie, or mixed into bread pudding. But these dried apricots are also great tossed into salads, used in sauces for pork or duck, stirred into rice pilaf and folded into stuffing.

The Rossi family of B & R Farms in Hollister, CA has been growing Blenheim apricots for 75 years. Although the slow ripening, small size and fragile nature of these special apricots have made them a rarity in the market, the Rossis have made it their mission to preserve this iconic and incredibly delicious fruit.

The very best.

I love fresh and dried apricots. Many, many, many months ago I purchased B&R Farms Dried Blenheim Apricots. After the bag was opened I kept it in the refrigerator. Every time I use the apricots I'm amazed by how good they are. Today I used some of the apricots in a salad --- amazingly they are just as delicious as the day I purchased them -- moist and full of flavor. The dried apricots you find grocery stores cannot compare with these apricots. They will not disappoint.

Best dried apricots

Blenheim apricots are by far the best apricots around. They thrive in the Santa Clara/San Benito County area where these are from.

The dried Blenheim apricots are so full of delicious flavor that I had to have a conversation with myself to stop eating them all in one setting!
