California-Made Chutney for Cheese Plates, Sandwiches & More
The newest offering from San Francisco Bay Area preserve maker Lisa Donohue, Mimi's Confitures' Beet Chutney is sweet-tart, earthy combination of beets, apple cider vinegar, currants, onions, garlic and sugar. A touch of cloves rounds out the condiment, adding a hint of warm spice that perfectly complements the beets and currants.
How to use
Serve Mimi's beet chutney on a cheese and charcuterie board, add to a grilled cheese sandwich or spoon over roasted pork loin. Come Thanksgiving, it would also be a lovely addition to the feast (move over, cranberry sauce) or your day-after turkey sandwich!
