Very different, very rustic, absolutely the best. Try making a recipe called "Polenta cake with resinous herbs"--unbelievable! I may try to grow the corn myself.
I love this polenta. I only eat whole grains and this polenta is a delicious way to do it. I cook it in the slow cooker then freeze serving size portions.
This polenta is literally the best polenta I've ever eaten. It has a rich corn flavor and great texture. Because it is whole milled and is not as fine as other polentas you have to cook it for longer, but it is totally worth it. I usually cook the whole bag and it stays good in the refrigerated for awhile and freezes beautifully.
