2021 Harvest California Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Made from 100% Mission olives—one of the very few cultivars unique to California. The roots of this olive can be traced back to the Jesuit and Franciscan missions, founded centuries ago across California. This year's Foxy is robust with rich fruity flavors punching through in both the aroma and flavor of green apples and green grapes followed by a powerful pepperiness that lingers at the finish.
How to use:
Inspired by one of our Market Hall Foods in-house deli favorites, this oil would pair beautifully with a broccoli and kale slaw made with parmesan, sliced almonds, anchovies and olives. Or for your next outdoor soirée, add a peppery kick to a watermelon, cucumber and feta salad.
Dewey Lucero and his family have been growing olives and producing olive oil for four generations. Located in Corning, California, their groves are over a century old, making them some of the oldest in the state. Their oils consistently win top awards, which they attribute to their absolute dedication to quality and excellence in every step of their production. Dewey is known for saying he has, "olive oil running through his veins."
