The process of candying flower petals is intense enough...imagine candying a whole violet! The work is deliberate and laborious, but the result is fantastic. These whole violets have a floral, sweet flavor with a nice crunch. Perfect for topping larger creations like wedding cakes.
There are 30- 35 whole violets per 2 ounce package.
Candiflor has been candying flowers in Toulouse, France since 1818. It's a testament to the difficulty of the process that they remain essentially the sole producer of these ancient delicacies. The flowers are all-natural and pesticide-free.
These flowers are a natural product, and while many of them are whole and beautiful, each package will also contain those that are less than perfect. If you’re planning a special event, we recommend ordering more than you need so you can pick and choose the most beautiful flowers.
