Is New Zealand an unlikely source for turkish delight? Perhaps.
The owners of Market Hall are from New Zealand and happened upon this luxurious treat one day years ago - Mr. Can Ozpinar makes each batch of this natural confection by hand. The texture is spot on and the flavors are pronounced but balanced. His flavorings are all natural and he sticks to the most traditional - Mint, Rose and Lemon.

I must say this was the best Turkish Delight I have ever had, bar none. Great response to order and reasonable shipping time. Will be buying again (soon).

Coming in flavors ranging from the disgusting (in my opinion) hazelnut flavor to the strange tasting mint; to the excellent rose and lemon flavors, this turkish delight is outstandingly good.
NO GELATIN! Woo Hoo! 100% vegan, yea!
You need to try this stuff, send it to your friends, etc. You'll love it! Perfect for teas, snacks, gifts, etc. -

The treat that tempted young Edmund in the second scene of C.S. Lewis's The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe. So hard to find nowadays. I tried the Lemon flavour this fall and will now order the Mint. (I'd buy all of them if they were in stock.)
I do hope Market Hall will keep ordering it.
