This 5,000 year old grain has been appreciated by Italians for ages, but it is just making its way to the US. We're so happy that it's catching on! Simple and light sauces of extra virgin olive oil, vegetables and stocks are best to appreciate the fine flavor of this pasta.
Casareccia is a very popular cut of pasta - a curving, twisted tube. This pasta is very tasty sauteed with roasted butternut squash and a some cripsed pancetta.

I love all the farro pastas. They taste great, have a really nice texture and are healthy. I have found that other alternate pastas don't hold and disintegrate when cooking. All the whole grain pastas on the Market Hall web-site hold perfectly.
