This philosophy hits especially close to home when one is dealing with raw ingredients, like corn and sugar cane. Commodities like these are governed by price - lower is better - and so when we found a company who pays a fair price for a great product, we wanted to be a part of what they're doing.

The campaign against high-fructose corn syrup has claimed many victims, and unfortunately, real corn syrup is one of them! Corn syrup is, in general, a natural product, not cooked up in a lab like HFCS. This organic syrup is made from non-GMO corn grown in the US.  It's vital to candy-making - marshmallows, brittles and frostings just aren't the same without it!
