* Please note - our latest delivery from Lunardi was made with black truffles, rather than white truffles. Black truffles tend to have a stronger flavor and the same is true with this product.
The Lunardi family was making truffle honey before it became popular to infuse all manner of things with truffles. We're very particular when it comes to "truffled" products because there is often only truffle "aroma" as an ingredient, not actual truffles. But the flavor of this honey turned our heads.
Rich and earthy, this is a match made in heaven. The sweetness of the honey masks the depth of flavor in the first instant that the honey hits your tongue...but the sweetness melts into a gorgeous, deep, earthy truffle flavor. We serve this honey alongside chunks of Parmigiano Reggiano and watch the looks of "ooh" & "aww" creep into the faces of our guests.

I keep this on hand to drizzle on cheese and bread for a special snack--and love the big flecks of truffle!

I LOVE this truffle honey. The aroma that fills the air when you first open the bottle entices you to use it on everything on site! I have served it many different ways: with manchego cheese, dates and honey drizzled over the cheese; as part of marinade for roast chicken; on a baguette with goat cheese...drizzle to your hearts content...I had people over for dinner and I served it as dessert, chunks of parmigian0 cheese drizzled with this and fresh raspberries...

This honey is beautiful, the truffle is subtle yet strong enough to balance off the sweetness of honey. Love it and will buy again!!
