In Sicily, the Orange blossom honey is made from Sweet Oranges (Citus Sinensis) which blossom from October to November. The Citrus plant originated in southeast Asia from where it was believed to be carried by the Arabs into Italy. Orange Blossom honey has a sweet and mild flavor and a light citrus fruity finish.

Orange blossom honey seems to be the perfect honey to stir into a cup of tea or hot toddy. Spread it on toast, or place a spoonfull of it next to a sharp Pecorino cheese or any cheese plate with aged cheeses.
