Dandelion Chocolates are the latest bean to bar chocolate makers from the San Francisco Bay Area. The folks at Dandelion roast, crack, sort, winnow, grind, conch and temper small batches of beans and then mold and package each bar by hand. By sourcing high quality beans and carefully crafting tiny batches, the individual flavors and nuances of each bean are accentuated. These bars are available in three different varieties, all are 70% Cacao.
Colombia - Deep chocolate flavor with a smooth, mellow finish. A great introduction to dark chocolate.
Ocumare, Venezuela - Classic chocolate flavor with notes of cinnamon and fruit.
Sambirano, Madagascar - Distinct and pleasant tang with notes of summer fruit, like raspberry jam.
