These Calabrian figs are harvested at summer's end and air dried before being baked and dipped into Colavolpe's secret syrup. The result is a wonderfully gooey treat for enjoying with cheese courses. We also use these in baking for breads and pastries.
For those who've ordered these in the past, please note: we're now selling the figs that are packed in Italy in 500 gram bags, not packing figs to order in trays. You'll actually get more figs for less money now!

I bought these (the first time) to give as a gift. Ate the whole bag. Bought them (the second time) to use in a dessert. Ate the whole bag. That's the negative part of my review. On the positive side, 500 grams of figs is a lot of figs!
